Traveling in Nepal

In a cold region such as that, Nepal is ideal to visit during summer since snow will melt by this time and it will be captivating to see Mt. Everest even at a distance if you’re not a climber on some expedition. There are many world-class resorts at the foot of Mt. Everest for the sightseeing and while doing that, you can have fun at these resorts because they offer such leisure activities as snow skating and the like. Besides, the food is excellent offering not just Asian fare but also standard Western cuisine. There are also spas and other wonderful features offered in a five-star resort elsewhere.

Now, I’ll tell you more about what food to expect to eat in Nepal. The staple is called daal bhaat tarkaari. It is basically steamed rice but topped with spicy-flavored vegetables. In other words, make sure to bring Tic-tacs along with you so that after every meal, there will be no aftertaste in your mouth. Being an Eastern country, Nepal is also rich with freshly-brewed tea so make your time in this country worthwhile by sipping some tea. You may bring powdered tea with you as a giveaway when you get back home.
