All About China
China is once again in the limelight these days with the phenomenal success of the remake of The Karate Kid starring boy wonder Jaden Smith, the son of actor-rapper Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith. Isn’t that cool? The Karate Kid was by far the best movie I’ve ever seen in ten since Pentecost. And the scenes across China are breathtaking – from the Old City to The Great Wall.
Of course, it does help that the movie has a very inspiring theme and Jackie Chan is at its best in promoting China, the same way he promoted it a year ago during the Beijing Olympics. Undoubtedly, this movie which has spawned box office successes across continents has caused a lot of people to take a second look in visiting China. You know what, China has a very colorful history ever since the time of Zhuge Liang and the various kingdoms that rule the land in centuries past.
Be that as it may, I’d love to explore some Chinese food once I’m visiting that nation. For those who are awed in urban settings, the city that I’d first recommend is Shanghai. Shanghai is one of the largest cities in the world and touring the city through a chopper at night is one heck of an awesome sight.
Unparalleled accuracy, unequivocal clratiy, and undeniable importance!
