The Islands of the Bahamas

The Bahamas is one whole archipelago of resorts. That means the beaches are not just converged in one island, it is spread throughout the whole archipelago, you’d be having a dizzying vertigo which beach to choose from. To help you out with this, we suggest that you pack with your wife and kids for a whole month…yes, a whole month of vacation in this summer paradise located in the Carribean.


The following are the beach islands in the Bahamas:

  • Grand Bahama

  • New Providence Island

  • Paradise Island

  • The Abacos

  • Acklins/Crooked Island

  • Andros

  • Berry Island

  • Bimini

  • Cat Island

  • Eleuthera

  • The Exumas

  • Harbour Island

  • Inagua

  • Long Island

  • Mayaguana

  • San Salvador


If you are a gambler, then you’d like Paradise Island since the largest casino in the archipelago is located there. In the Atlantis Paradise Resort and Casino, there is even an underwater tour to make you feel that you’re really in the mythical Atlantis.


Beaches are de rigeur to every tourist but what I like most in any place is the local cuisine. For the freshest sea catch, stroll around the fishing docks as early as 4 a.m. and buy directly from the fisherfolk. Elsewhere, there’s an abundance of food.
