The Philippines’ paradise pride Boracay is once again in the world spotlight as Westerners and tourists from other countries troop to this tropical mecca. Boracay is the Philippines’ answer to the Carribean’s Bora Bora, to the Mediterranean’s Palma de Mallorca, to Thailand’s Phuket and to Indonesia’s Bali. Each of these five attractions have lots of amenities to boast about and admittedly, none reigns supreme over the rest. But Boracay has one more charm left in her – the hospitality of her people.


Filipinos have been known to be the most hospitable folks in the world and although most of the resorts in Boracay are owned by Westerners, they are still manned by Filipino staff and in the beaches themselves, Filipinos will gladly help you out if you need anything – from assisting in your first skimboarding experience to providing directions on the most “in” dance club in the beach strip. You can easily meet friends there as summer backpackers usually go there just to meet potential new dates.


Boracay is the home venue of the Asian Windsurfing Tour and bikinis, babes and beer just abound there all summer long. So what are you waiting for? Book now with your travel agent.
