State of New York

If there is anything that can capture essentially the mood of New York in this present day, it is none other than the lyric of Alicia Keys’s latest hit Empire State of Mind. Manhattan remains to be the premiere urban bed in the world and Central Park remains to have the freshest air in an urban setting.

Spending time in the state of New York can really be spellbinding if you include those northern regions already ordering Canada. Just immersing yourself for about two minutes in Times Square one Sunday evening on a date this season of love can already be inspiring. Electronic billboards proclaiming various commercial establishments may not sound romantic at first but staring at those moving neon lights can be relaxing to a point.

What sets New York apart from all other places in the world is that it is the melting pot of cultures. When England colonized America, they brought in with them Irish Catholic immigrants which now make the bulk of upper-class New Yorkers. And when they brought black slaves with them, their descendants are the very same ones populating the Bronx. Not to mention that the food there is as diverse as the people living in this state.
