Kuala Lumpur Tourist Destinations

UNDOUBTEDLY, the charisma of then Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad catapulted Kuala Lumpur and the rest of the country’s economy. And along with it technology of course as well as endless days and nights of partying. Kuala Lumpur is one heck of a big party place, the Southeast Asian urban alternative to other metropolises in the world.

The most famous landmark in Kuala Lumpur of course is the Petronas Towers where sometime in the 1990s used to be the tallest building in the world. Not only that, it was featured prominently in a movie starring the hottest stars at the time, Catherine Zeta Jones and Sean Connery wherein their characters scaled parts of the tower and precariously dangled from one end to the other.

Now that Mahathir is no longer in power, the economy of Kuala Lumpur is still festive even at this point. Technology continues to rise and tourism is at an all-time high thanks to tremendous advertising poured in by Mahathir’s successors in the tourism sector.

You may as well want to visit the rest of the landmarks in the city during your first day of stay here. In Lake Titingwasa for example is a replica of London Eye.
