Steve Irwin’s Place in Australia
In memory of his lifelong career until it was cut short with death, Steve Irwin has a zoo under his name in his birthplace of Australia. The zoo is crammed with all the animals that he loves before his death – crocodiles most importantly but the place also has various animals such as koalas and kangaroos which are both native in Australia. Crocodile feeding is one of the highlights of this spectacular zoo but of course, this stunt is definitely safe even for kids because there are measures that are in place. The place is near Hervey’s Bay.
If you want to go to Steve Irwin’s Place, you may as well book with your travel agent early because this attraction is hot for tourists anytime during the year not just for Australians but for people all over the globe, from Americans to Spanish, even Filipinos. Other animals featured in Steve Irwin’s Place include pigmy goats, potbellied pigs and opossums. There are lots of hotels near Steve Irwin’s Place (also known as the Australia Zoo) for your comfort. Most of these resort hotels offer humongous discounts depending on the season you are traveling. So enjoy your visit to Steve Irwin’s Place.
